Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boyd Mcgowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thad Largo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boyd Mcgowan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thad Largo! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Largo has a takedown stuffed. A quick step to the side and Mcgowan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Largo doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgowan circles away.
Largo wants to clinch up but Mcgowan keeps it at a distance. Mcgowan leaves Largo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mcgowan blocks the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Largo tries to clinch but Mcgowan moves out of range. Mcgowan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mcgowan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Boyd Mcgowan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thad Largo. Largo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mcgowan defends well and Largo ends up having to push Mcgowan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mcgowan is looking for a counter combo.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Largo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcgowan but Mcgowan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Largo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mcgowan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Largo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgowan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mcgowan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Largo is defended easily by Mcgowan. Mcgowan throws a head kick that Largo semi-blocks.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Largo dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcgowan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mcgowan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Largo tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgowan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Largo shoots and misses and Mcgowan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Largo throws a head kick that misses and Mcgowan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Largo has a takedown stuffed. Largo looks winded! Mcgowan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Largo.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Largo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcgowan pinned against the cage. Mcgowan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. An attempted straight right counter from Mcgowan misses the target. Largo doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgowan circles away.

Mcgowan closes the distance and clinches. Mcgowan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Largo is defending well.
Largo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Largo tries to clinch but Mcgowan moves out of range. Largo tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgowan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Largo lands with a shot to the body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Largo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Largo shoots in but no luck this time. Largo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcgowan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mcgowan is looking for a counter combo. Boyd Mcgowan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mcgowan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mcgowan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Largo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Largo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mcgowan prevents it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Largo. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Largo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Largo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Boyd Mcgowan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mcgowan wants to clinch up but Largo keeps it at a distance. Largo doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgowan circles away.
It looked like Mcgowan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Largo. Mcgowan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mcgowan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mcgowan pushes Largo up against the cage in a clinch. Largo stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcgowan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Largo can't fight it off and eventually Mcgowan manages to take the fight to the floor. Largo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mcgowan content to stall in guard here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Largo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Largo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcgowan manages to get himself to full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Largo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mcgowan's guard. Largo throws a strike but Mcgowan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Largo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcgowan's guard.
Mcgowan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Largo is aware though and is defending well.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mcgowan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgowan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Mcgowan instigates a clinch. Largo tries to score a body lock takedown but Mcgowan shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mcgowan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Mcgowan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Largo walks away with a smile on his face. Mcgowan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcgowan keeps the fight on the outside.

Mcgowan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. As Largo looks to move away, Mcgowan throws a big counter combo bu Largo just gets out of the way. Largo tries to clinch but Mcgowan is having none of it. Mcgowan moves in looking to clinch but Largo pushes him off. Largo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Largo misses the body punch and Mcgowan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mcgowan keeps the fight on the outside. Largo tries to clinch but Mcgowan is having none of it. A punch combination from Mcgowan misses. Largo lands a right hook to the body.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Largo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcgowan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thad Largo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Largo with a lazy takedown attempt and Mcgowan counters with a straight right hand. Largo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Largo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Boyd Mcgowan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thad Largo.
The fight moves into the clinch position. A battle for position here, against the cage. Mcgowan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Largo prevents it.
Mcgowan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Largo smiles and moves away.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgowan is trying to pull guard but Largo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Largo lands on the inside with an uppercut. Largo wants to break the clinch but can't.

Largo is working Mcgowan over against the cage. Largo tries to circle away but Mcgowan has him pinned against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Largo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mcgowan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Largo goes for a takedown attempt but Mcgowan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Largo shoots in but no luck this time. Largo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mcgowan.
Mcgowan has closed the distance and engaged Largo in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcgowan slowing the pace effectively. Thad Largo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boyd Mcgowan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mcgowan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
And that's the end of the fight! Boyd Mcgowan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mcgowan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
