Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Go, Go Power Rangers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Lee Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lyoto Parks! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parks moves out of range of the body kick. It seemed like Parks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Parks takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parks throws out the jab. Scott appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Parks throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily. Scott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Parks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Scott looks to land a combination but Parks avoids it well. Parks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Scott counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Scott lands with a hook. Parks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Scott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Scott bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Scott connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Parks's hands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott throws a series of strikes that have Parks backpedaling.
It looks like Lyoto Parks has been cut. Parks with a jab. Scott has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (4.5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight. Scott feints and then cracks Parks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Parks down. Scott throws a hook to the side of Parks's head but Parks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Scott throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott digs a good hook to Parks's body.

and Parks counters with a stiff right hand. A chopping leg kick lands by Scott. Parks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Parks wants to clinch. Scott throws a lazy uppercut
and Parks counters with a nice body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice shot by Parks. Parks slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Parks swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Scott lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Parks just misses with a punch to the body.

Scott is rocked! Scott walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Parks! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lyoto Parks! After winning the bout, Lyoto Parks thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
