Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rudolpho Poontang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnson Goodluck!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poontang listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Poontang pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Goodluck! But no joy.
Poontang punishes Goodluck's body with a nice straight punch.
Goodluck tries to move into range but Poontang moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Goodluck displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Poontang throws out the jab.
Goodluck gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Poontang gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rudolpho Poontang!
