The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morghulis sprawls well initially but Love persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Love wants to work for an arm triangle but Morghulis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Love is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Morghulis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Love pulls his head out easily.

Love is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Morghulis sees it coming and defends easily.
Love is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Love is nestled in close to Morghulis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Morghulis is posturing up here but Love has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Morghulis tries to roll out but it's too tight and Morghulis has to tap! Slick submission there by Love!
