Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Kerjalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keijo Kerjalainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lester Green!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerjalainen tests Green's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Green dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kerjalainen. That did some damage!
Kerjalainen moves out of range of the body kick from Green.
Kerjalainen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Green tries to score with a low kick but Kerjalainen moves his leg out of the way.
Kerjalainen is looking to counter punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kerjalainen, as that shot connected.
Green staying out of range there.
Kerjalainen misses with a straight right.
Kerjalainen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Green escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kerjalainen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Green manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kerjalainen on his heels. He'll look to pass Kerjalainen's guard now, I'm sure.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Green buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Green lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Green drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kerjalainen is trying to control Green's posture but Green avoids it.

Green is trying to get an arm triangle but Kerjalainen is defending well.

Green creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kerjalainen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Green goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kerjalainen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Green but great work by Kerjalainen.
Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kerjalainen is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
