Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson has chosen Hollywood Undead - How We Roll as his entrance music. Gilbert Rodriguez looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gilbert Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson misses with a double jab.
Rodriguez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Henderson defends it nicely.
Henderson misses with the combination.
Rodriguez misses with a wild body shot.
Rodriguez shoots in but no luck this time.
Henderson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Henderson darts in and clinches Rodriguez up against the cage.
Henderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Henderson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Rodriguez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rodriguez forces Henderson back against the cage and clinches.
Henderson breaks the clinch.
Henderson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A combination from Rodriguez does no damage.
Henderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rodriguez misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Rodriguez. Those never looked like landing.
Rodriguez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Henderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Henderson throws Rodriguez to one side and escapes!
Rodriguez throws a wild hook but Henderson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rodriguez gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Henderson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Henderson!
Our winner, James Henderson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
