Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abe Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes to the cage accompanied by Doesn't Remind Me -Audioslave. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abe Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bradley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bradley instigates a clinch.

Bradley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bradley lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! Bradley takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Diaz is rocked!


It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
Bradley swings for the body but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Bradley finish him?
Bradley moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A swing and a miss from Diaz.
Diaz scores with a jab to the body.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Diaz misses with a hook. Bradley ducked under it nicely.
Bradley throws a right hand that Diaz ducks under and follows up with a left that Diaz also avoids with ease.

Diaz connects with a nice looking jab.


It looks like Abe Bradley has been cut.
Diaz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bradley.
As Diaz looks to move away, Bradley throws a big counter combo bu Diaz just gets out of the way.
Diaz swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Bradley counters with a crisp one two that drops Diaz! Bradley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Diaz to his feet! Diaz is in big trouble!
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
Diaz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diaz takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bradley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Diaz.
Bradley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab.
Bradley was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradley was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.

Bradley has managed to clinch.
Bradley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bradley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz looks to score with a jab to the body but Bradley is just out of range.
Bradley seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Diaz misses with an uppercut.
Diaz jabs Bradley right on the nose. Bradley blinks but takes it well.

Bradley rushes Diaz and presses him up against the cage.
Bradley creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Diaz's defenses.
Bradley lands an elbow inside that Diaz shrugs off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz fails to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bradley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bradley ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bradley slips under a jab from Diaz.
Nice jab there from Diaz.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
Bradley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diaz with a hook.
Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Diaz tests Bradley's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bradley closes the distance and clinches.
Diaz tries to pull guard but Bradley holds him up against the cage and eventually Diaz drops back down to his feet.

Bradley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bradley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab.

Bradley forces Diaz back against the cage and clinches.

Bradley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A big left from Diaz misses.
It looked like Bradley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Diaz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bradley had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Diaz drops Bradley with a beautiful combination! Bradley stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Diaz is looking for the KO!
Diaz throws an overhand right that lands on Bradley's shoulder, as Bradley tries to avoid the shot.

Bradley closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bradley manages to break the clinch.
Bradley tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bradley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


Abe Bradley's cut is getting worse.
Diaz throws the left hand but Bradley avoids the punch easily.
Bradley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Diaz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A jab from Diaz does it's job there.
Bradley connects with a high kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diaz throws a hook to the side of Bradley's head but Bradley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diaz throws out a powerful jab.
Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It looked like Bradley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Diaz throws a poor cross that misses
and Bradley counters with a body kick.
Diaz throws the left hand but Bradley avoids the punch easily.
Bradley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Diaz throws out a loose jab but Bradley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bradley.
Bradley is looking for a counter combo.
Diaz misses with a straight right.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz looks to throw the jab but Bradley is out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bradley slips under a jab from Diaz.
Bradley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diaz throws out the jab.
Diaz throws a lazy right hand but Bradley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Diaz cracks Bradley with an open hand slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Diaz dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Bradley moves into range and clinches up with Diaz.
Diaz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bradley to keep the fight standing.

Diaz manages to break the clinch.
Bradley scores with a head kick. Diaz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Bradley down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Bradley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Diaz drops Bradley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bradley looks back up at him and smiles so Diaz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Bradley is rocked!
Abe Bradley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bradley clinches up against the cage.
Oh Bradley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diaz tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.
Diaz tries for a takedown but Bradley manages to get underhooks.
Bradley seems to have got his legs back now.
Abe Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Diaz.

Diaz jabs Bradley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bradley swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Bradley moves into the clinch.

Bradley breaks the clinch.

Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradley was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.
Diaz misses with an uppercut
and Bradley counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Diaz falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Abe Bradley!
