Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by I'd Love to Knock the Hell out of You by Hank Williams, Jr. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
30 - 22 - 2, fighting out of London, Daniel Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Gotti!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan feints and as Gotti raises his hands in defense, Ryan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gotti has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ryan is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Gotti is pressed up against the cage. Ryan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gotti down to the mat. Gotti avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gotti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ryan half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gotti gets caught napping as Ryan dives in and scores a takedown. Gotti manages to retain guard.
Ryan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ryan works to advance to full mount. Gotti defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Ryan raining down shots from the mount!
Ryan avoids the attempt from Gotti to control.
Gotti tries to control Ryan's head but Ryan pushes him back down and moves quickly to lock up an arm here - he's swung around for an armbar! Will he get it??? Yes! Gotti is tapping out! Lovely Jiu Jitsu there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (armbar). Daniel Ryan!
Daniel Ryan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
