Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harald Hillgrund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Pablo Green!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Hillgrund misses.
Green moves out of range of the body kick.
Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hillgrund defends well and Green ends up having to push Hillgrund into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hillgrund tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've been told by Hillgrund's head coaches at Abobomination Training $800 13 LEGIT elite coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hillgrund fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Green, pushing him back against the cage.
Hillgrund lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Green wants to break free but Hillgrund has control.

Green breaks the clinch.
Green ducks under a wild hook from Hillgrund.
Green swats away the attempt to clinch by Hillgrund.

Hillgrund instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green is trying to push Hillgrund away but Hillgrund has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hillgrund lands a body shot.
Hillgrund misses with some punches.
Green lands a left hand.
Green takes a shot to the head.
Hillgrund fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Green is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hillgrund is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hillgrund working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Hillgrund.
Hillgrund tries to work over Green's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hillgrund tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Green's elbow.
Hillgrund lands with a short shot to the head.
Hillgrund has Green pressed against the cage, preventing Green from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Green breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hillgrund closes the distance and clinches.
Hillgrund goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Green gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hillgrund tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hillgrund works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hillgrund keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully.
Hillgrund can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Green is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Green is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hillgrund has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Green is looking to defend but Hillgrund has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Green! Hillgrund pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Green taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Harald Hillgrund!
Harald Hillgrund spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
