The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Drake.
Matthews wants to get back to his feet but Drake is dominant here and he's now got Matthews's back!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Drake definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Matthews trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Will Drake go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Drake has Matthews flattened out and is raining down punches.
Even with his hooks in, Drake manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Drake looking to break Matthews's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Matthews remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Drake will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
