Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Killer!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stark closes the distance and clinches.
Killer tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Killer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stark is keeping busy.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Stark tries to score a body lock takedown but Killer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark jumps into guard, dragging Killer to the mat.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Stark manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Killer connects with a knee to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is keeping an eye on Stark - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A frustrated look appears on Stark's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Stark misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Killer.
Killer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Stark jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Killer walks away with a smile on his face. Stark gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Killer lands a glancing blow to the side of Stark's head.
Killer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Stark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Killer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stark is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Killer throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Stark is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Blake Killer!
