Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Jihad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jihad comes to the cage accompanied by America! Fuck Yeah!. Halo has chosen I am a Nightmare Walking as his entrance music. Mohammed Jihad could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gabriel Halo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jihad throws a wild body kick that Halo sees coming a mile off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Halo! But no joy.
Jihad uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Halo.
Halo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jihad scores with a crisp jab that stopped Halo in his tracks.
Halo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jihad throws a shot from downtown. Halo moves away and avoids it.
Halo clinches up with Jihad and pushes him back against the cage.
Jihad has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jihad lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Halo backwards.
Jihad avoids a wild elbow strike from Halo.
Halo lands with a short shot to the head.
Jihad makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Halo's coach down at Guinness Stout was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Halo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jihad.

Jihad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jihad doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jihad is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Halo can't fight it off and eventually Jihad manages to take the fight to the floor. Halo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Halo is looking for a triangle but Jihad pushes his legs off easily.

Jihad cracks Halo with a solid left hand.
Jihad postures up in Halo's guard and throws a big left but Halo blocks it.
Halo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jihad manages to get himself to full guard.
Jihad bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Halo's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Halo wants to sweep here but Jihad controlling him for the moment.
Jihad gets to his feet and stands over Halo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Halo felt that one! Jihad unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Halo from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohammed Jihad!
Our winner, Mohammed Jihad, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
