Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Hoffmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Lora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Hoffmann has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aaron Hoffmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lora takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lora shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoffmann tries to sprawl out of it but Lora keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoffmann manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoffmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lora tries for a takedown but Hoffmann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lora takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lora misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hoffmann.
Lora moves in looking to clinch but Hoffmann pushes him off.
Hoffmann throws a body shot but no joy.
Lora closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hoffmann counters with a left to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lora throws a head kick that misses.
Lora shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoffmann as he jumps to the side.

Lora shoots in for a double leg but Hoffmann sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lora wants to counter with a clinch but Hoffmann pushes him away.
Lora with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hoffmann to score with a decent uppercut.

Hoffmann is looking to wear down Lora with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lora lands an overhand right.
Lora fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hoffmann looks to score with a jab to the body but Lora is just out of range.
Lora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoffmann.
Lora is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lora tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoffmann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoffmann connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lora momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoffmann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lora moves away.
As Hoffmann backs off Lora throws a huge counter combo but Hoffmann manages to avoid it all.
Hoffmann loads up on a big right hand but Lora slips the punch.
Hoffmann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lora was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoffmann.

Lora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hoffmann scores with a jab. Lora acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Felix Lora has been cut.

Lora takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Hoffmann misses with a wild body shot.
Hoffmann cracks Lora with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hoffmann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lora was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoffmann.
Lora avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lora closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hoffmann circles away.
Hoffmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lora takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoffmann blocks a head kick by Lora.
A jab from Hoffmann does it's job there.
Lora is rocked!
Lora tries to clinch but Hoffmann moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Hoffmann misses the target.
Lora is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoffmann finish him?
Hoffmann does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lora seems to have recovered his senses.
Lora takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hoffmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lora steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hoffmann.
Hoffmann just misses with a punch to the body.
Lora looks to land a body kick but Hoffmann moved away.
Hoffmann swinging wildly here.
A little jabbing left from Lora on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A big left from Hoffmann misses.
Nice takedown defense from Hoffmann. No joy for Lora on that attempt.
Lora checks a leg kick nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Hoffmann dominated that round.

Hoffmann throws a combination. Lora tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hoffmann connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lora's hands.
Lora staying out of range there.
Lora misses with a body shot
and Hoffmann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aaron Hoffmann is winning the standup battle so far.
Lora shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoffmann as he avoids it easily.
Lora wants to clinch up but Hoffmann keeps it at a distance.
Lora ducks under a wild hook from Hoffmann.
Lora throws a counter combo.
Lora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lora bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lora working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lora is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoffmann is trying to improve his position.

Hoffmann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lora can do to turn this around?
Lora tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoffmann can't do much from the bottom here.
Lora has hold of Hoffmann's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hoffmann tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lora cranks the arm and Hoffmann screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hoffmann, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
