The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Lee Thomas has been cut.
Blaatand throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thomas.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blaatand as he jumps to the side.
Blaatand catches Thomas napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Thomas to the canvas!
Thomas is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blaatand stands up over Thomas, holding on to his feet. Blaatand throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Thomas is out cold! Blaatand lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Harald Blaatand!
