Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cool Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cool Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Anderson!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance.

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
A nice elbow there by Man.
Man can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anderson is looking to escape.

Man goes for an armbar but Anderson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Anderson.
Anderson wanted to stand there but Man had control of the position.
Man controlling Anderson's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Anderson drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Anderson off! Anderson jumps back into Man's guard.

Man is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Man wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Man tries to get out of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Anderson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Man is proving hard to escape from.
Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Man tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it.
Anderson swinging wilding here.
Anderson clinches but Man breaks the clinch

and Man moves into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Man changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Anderson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Man shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Man is breathing heavily.
Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.
Anderson tries to clinch but Man is having none of it.
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Man counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anderson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Man takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Anderson closes the distance but Man moves to the side

and Man counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Man.

Anderson wriggles free and stands up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Anderson scores with a kick to the midsection.

Man has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Man wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Anderson jumps into guard, dragging Man to the mat.

Man could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Anderson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cool Man dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Man feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Man won't allow Anderson to sweep him here.
Man postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Man is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Anderson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Man is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Man postures up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.
Anderson wants to stand but Man is controlling the position.
Anderson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson is trying to keep Man in close.
Anderson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man manages to get himself to full guard.

Man is looking for a triangle here but Anderson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Man is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Anderson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Anderson wants to stand but Man has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Man looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Anderson is keen to just control but Man is a slippery customer.
Anderson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Anderson is pressing down on Man's thigh, looking to free his foot. Man is holding on for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cool Man dominated that second round.
That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Man misses with a hook.
Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Man shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.
Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Man counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Man.

Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cool Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Man trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Man is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Man accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Man is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Man has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Anderson pushes Man off and gets back to his feet.

Man fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Anderson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Anderson is looking for a triangle but Man pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Man won't allow Anderson to sweep him here.
Man sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Anderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Man throwing strikes from guard but Anderson blocks nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Anderson pushes Man off and scrambles back to his feet.
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Man counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Anderson's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson controls Man momentarily but Man frees himself.
Man content to stall in guard here.
Tommy Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cool Man is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cool Man showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
