Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Askren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Grant Morrison! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrison on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Morrison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morrison takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Morrison gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Askren to score an easy takedown into full guard. Morrison wants to get back to his feet but Askren passes into half guard.
Morrison is trying to maintain the position but Askren is very close to passing his half guard. Nice strikes from Askren there. Morrison keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Askren winds up and cracks Morrison with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Morrison is looking to improve his position.
Askren content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We've been hearing that Askren has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrison keeping hold of Askren's head, controlling as best he can. Askren with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Morrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Askren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Askren lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Askren not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Morrison is trying to get back to full guard. Askren seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Askren there. Askren looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Morrison is rocked! Morrison is trying to get back to full guard. Morrison is still in real trouble! Can Askren finish him? Askren looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morrison with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Askren is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Morrison! Askren postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Morrison bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Askren and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Askren! A very excited looking Jon Askren made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
