Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay El Pee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Jay El Pee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hans Yamato! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from El Pee. Those never looked like landing. Yamato shoots and misses and El Pee counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Yamato with a poor takedown and El Pee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. El Pee misses with a wild combination.
Yamato feints the counter takedown. El Pee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. El Pee feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yamato sprawling to the canvas! Yamato rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can El Pee finish him?!
Yamato is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yamato uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from El Pee. Yamato is still on wobbly legs! Can El Pee finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. El Pee lands an overhand right. Yamato moves out of range as El Pee strikes. El Pee loads up on a big right hand but Yamato slips the punch. Yamato seems to have recovered his senses. Yamato misses with a takedown attempt - El Pee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jay El Pee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Yamato. Yamato shoots for a takedown but El Pee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yamato showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from El Pee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. El Pee missing with a left hand there. Yamato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Yamato shoots for a takedown but El Pee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. El Pee is looking to counter punch. Yamato takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Nice defenses there by Yamato. El Pee jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yamato is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Yamato steps to the side to avoid the strikes from El Pee. El Pee throws a looping overhand right but Yamato ducks down to avoid it. Yamato with a poor takedown and El Pee counters with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamato shoots in for a takedown but El Pee shows good takedown defense. El Pee scores with a hook to the body. Yamato takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Yamato has a takedown stuffed. El Pee moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. El Pee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A telegraphed right hand from El Pee misses the target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamato fails with the takedown and El Pee counters with a nice uppercut. El Pee throws a lazy uppercut
so Yamato counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yamato accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Yamato drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Yamato seems to have locked his on tight now - El Pee screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Yamato, as he picks up the win!
