Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Marcal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axyl Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Axyl Hawke! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcal cracks Hawke with a big right hand and Hawke goes down!
It looks like Axyl Hawke has been cut. Marcal won't allow Hawke to sweep him here. Marcal wants to stand but Hawke has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Marcal wants to stand and escape but instead Hawke has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Hawke showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hawke forces his way into half guard. Hawke content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcal steps into range and cracks Hawke with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Hawke flops backwards and Marcal dives into his guard looking to finish!
Marcal wants to stand but Hawke is controlling his posture from full guard. Hawke has Marcal pulled in close to control his posture. Marcal wants to stand and escape but instead Hawke has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Marcal wants to get back to his feet but Hawke is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hawke forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawke controlling the pace. Hawke thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marcal's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawke passes the guard and advances to mount! Marcal tries to buck Hawke off but he can't manage it. Hawke controlling from mount. Marcal trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcal really wants to buck Hawke off and get back to his feet. Hawke throwing strikes here but Marcal is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Marcal wants to get back to his feet.
Hawke controlling the position easily from mount. Hawke thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Hawke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marcal wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Daniel Marcal dominated that round. The cut man is working on Axyl Hawke's cut. That's time! Marcal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Hawke counters with a nice uppercut. Marcal connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hawke momentarily.

Marcal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hawke can do to turn this around? A jab from Marcal misses. It seemed like Hawke was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Daniel Marcal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marcal throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hawke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A jab from Marcal misses. Hawke tests Marcal's chin there with a solid looking shot. An inside leg kick from Hawke misses. Marcal misses with an uppercut. Hawke saw that one coming. Marcal lands a big shot that drops Hawke! Can he finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hawke pulls Marcal in close to prevent any damage. Hawke has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Marcal is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Hawke lands with a right to the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hawke. Marcal takes a shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawke throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Marcals head. Hawke pushes Marcal back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hawke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Marcal misses with an uppercut
letting Hawke counter with a right hand. Hawke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marcal. Marcal misses with a right hand and Hawke counters with a straight right hand. Hawke cracks Marcal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hawke cracks Marcal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. and Hawke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Marcal scores with a nice right hand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marcal throws a lazy uppercut
letting Hawke counter with a right hand. Marcal throws an overhand right that lands on Hawke's shoulder, as Hawke tries to avoid the shot. Marcal throws an off balance right hand
and Hawke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marcal takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawke connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marcal's hands. Marcal is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Hawke throws a nice inside leg kick. Hawke lands a lovely overhand right.
Marcal is rocked! Hawke drops Marcal with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Marcal! Hawke dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Axyl Hawke!
