Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Some Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Brooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Some Dude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Brooka!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooka moves out of range of the body kick from Dude.
Dude lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dude scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dude gets a takedown into half guard.
Brooka pushes Dude off and gets back to his feet.
Dude throws a hook to the side of Brooka's head but Brooka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brooka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dude.
Brooka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dude napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brooka in side control, throwing shots but Dude defends.
Dude tries to bench press Brooka off him but Brooka keeps the position.
Brooka creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dude sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Brooka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brooka decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Dude turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Brooka swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dude counters with a solid body kick.
Brooka blocks a head kick by Dude.
Dude connects with a jab.
Brooka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dude moves away.
Brooka misses with a takedown
and Dude counters with a leg kick.
Some Dude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brooka.
Brooka looks winded!
Brooka takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dude tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dude ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brooka moves away.
A countering left hand to the body from Brooka misses.
Brooka avoids a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dude misses with a lunging right hand
and Brooka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brooka is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dude is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Brooka to the mat. Brooka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Brooka is looking to control Dude's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brooka avoid being mounted?
Dude is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dude passes to side control.
Brooka on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Dude throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Brooka works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Dude wants to take a breather but Brooka is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brooka is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dude pulls his head out easily.

Brooka wants to control but Dude is keeping busy.
Dude scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dude slips a nice elbow through Brooka's hands, connecting with Brooka's forehead.
It looks like Steve Brooka has been cut.

Brooka is not content to let Dude control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Some Dude dominated that round.

Brooka fails with the takedown.
Dude stuffs the takedown attempt from Brooka. Brooka gets slowly back to his feet.
Brooka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dude.
Brooka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dude swivels and escapes.
Some Dude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Brooka.

Dude is working Brooka over against the cage.
Dude lands a body punch in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooka tries to score a body lock takedown but Dude shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dude presses Brooka against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Dude has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Brooka clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dude connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Brooka to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brooka is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dude is punishing Brooka with strikes - can he finish him?!
Brooka grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Dude drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Brooka is in real trouble here! Dude lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Dude is delighted!
