Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Psycho Chris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rose Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Psycho Chris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rose Red! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick by Red misses and Chris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rose Red seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Red throws the left hand but Chris avoids the punch easily. Red is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chris changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Chris uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Red. Chris tries to clinch there but Red circles away.
Red tries to clinch up but Chris circles away and keeps his distance. No luck for Chris with that takedown attempt. Chris blocks a jab. Red shoots in and drives through. Chris sprawls well. Red listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A slow jab from Red misses its intended target. Red bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chris's head. Horrible takedown attempt by Chris or perhaps it was just good defense by Red, which made it look bad. Chris circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chris tries to sprawl but Red drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Red thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chris's head. Red is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Red has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Red tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Chris makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chris. Chris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Chris keeping moving, preventing Red from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Red accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Chris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Red with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Red wanted to stand there but Chris had control of the position. Red trying to control the position from guard on top but Chris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Red throws a big right hand that misses. Chris has control of Red's left arm, preventing Red from doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A telegraphed right hand from Red misses the target. Red comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Red looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Red throws a hook to the side of Chris's head but Chris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Chris circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chris has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chris there as he acknowledges the shot. Chris takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Red swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Psycho Chris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Red feints a jab promting Chris to slip. Red then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chris slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Chris on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Red shoots in looking for a takedown but Chris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Red's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Red misses with a takedown and Chris moves into the clinch. Red lands an uppercut. Chris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Red prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Chris. Chris is trying to drag Red to the mat but Red just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Red misses with a hook from the clinch. Chris is looking for a takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rose Red dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Chris keeps the fight on the outside. Red motions for Chris to come forward. Red throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Red scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Red misses with a head kick.
Chris moves out of range of the body kick. Red keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Red throws out a powerful jab. Rose Red seems to be getting the better of the standup. Red will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Chris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Red pinned against the cage. Red gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chris shoots in looking for a takedown. Red manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Psycho Chris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left lands for Red. Red lands a jab to the nose. Nice straight punches there by Red. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Red. Red avoids a kick to the body.
Chris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Red sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chris somewhat. Red thuds a left hand into Chris's body. Red scores with a jab to the head.
Chris swats away the attempt to clinch by Red.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chris slips under a jab from Red. Chris gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Red. Red tries to clinch but Chris is having none of it. Red lands with a cross. Chris walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Red but Red pushes him off and we're back to square one. Red misses with a two punch combination.
Chris gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Red is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Red trying to control but Chris is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red tries to stand but Chris is controlling from the bottom. Chris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Red decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chris, up you get! Nice shot lands for Red. Red misses with an uppercut. Chris is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Red's half guard. Chris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Red is just riding it out for now. Chris eventually gives up the hold. Red has been the more effective fighter overall so far. He's simply no match for Red on the ground. Red wants to stand and escape but Chris is having none of it. Rose Red showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
A shot to the liver by Red. Beautiful body shot. Red connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Chris goes for a double leg but Red avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Red continues to drive forward. Chris tries to move into range but Red moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Chris with a poor takedown and Red counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Red scores with a nice head shot. Psycho Chris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Red tries to avoid it but Chris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Red to the ground. Red escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Psycho Chris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chris fails with the takedown and Chris takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Red scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Red scores with a nice head shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Red, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Red lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Red scores with a nice head shot. A left lands for Red.

Red paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Red lands a jab to the nose. Red tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chris swivels and escapes. Red tries to clinch there but Chris circles away.
Chris dives in for a single leg takedown but Red sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jab from Red. Red is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Red lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Red misses with a head kick.
Red throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Red quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Red flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Red is trying to stand.

Red strikes from the bottom but Chris passes into mount!
Red tries to hold on but Chris postures up. Chris cracks Red with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Chris wants to finish this one by submission but Red is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chris. Red is trying to stand. Red wants to control but Chris is having none of it. Red tries to buck Chris off but he can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Red is surviving well by controlling Chris's body position as best he can. Red swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Chris won't let Red get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Red is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Red is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Chris wants to finish this one by submission but Red is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chris. Chris working Red over with strikes here. Red sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Red is trying to stand.
Red is trying to escape back to his feet but Chris uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Chris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Red knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Psycho Chris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! You can see the frustration on Red's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rose Red is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Red wants to get back to his feet. Chris working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Rose Red comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Red winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
