Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juicy Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monkey Business (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Monkey Business! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay shoots in looking for a takedown but Business manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Business throws a big shot that misses. Business shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jay sprawls well. Jay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Business gets slowly back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Jay. No joy for Business on that attempt. Jay looks for a takedown but Business sprawls well. Monkey Business seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Business is fending him off so far but Jay persists. Nope, Business circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juicy Jay. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Business. Business leaves Jay with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Business let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Business shoots in and drives through. Jay sprawls well. Jay feinted with a counter takedown. Business throws a leg kick but Jay sees it coming and moves out of range. Business misses with a jab, cross combination.

Business tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Business stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Business wants it to stay on the feet. A head kick misses from Business. Business misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jay.

Business throws a sloppy head kick and Jay moves out of range easily. Business throws a head kick that misses. Business stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Business wants it to stay on the feet.

Business misses with a straight right. Jay changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Jay closes the distance and clinches up with Business, looking for a takedown. Jay pushes Business against the cage but Business circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Business misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jay. Business tries to counter by closing the distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Business lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Business. Business swinging wildly here.

Jay tries to counter with a takedown but Business is quick to defend against it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jay enables Business to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jay manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Business stays in close to Jay's body and controls the position. Jay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Business on the ground. Business works a leg free and moves into half guard. Business is figuring out what he wants to do next. Business is working for a kimura but Jay is defending it quite comfortably.
Business looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Business wants to control but Jay is keeping him busy. Business has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jay defend it? Business steps over the head and cranks it - Jay is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Business!
