Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Amil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Bazooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bazooka has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Brick Bazooka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Simon Amil's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Amil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bazooka as he avoids it easily.

Amil tries to close the distance and clinch but Bazooka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Amil is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Brick Bazooka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Amil has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bazooka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Amil.
