The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Ali Cali has been cut.
Ali Cali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spencer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Spencer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cali.
Cali shoots in and drives through. Spencer sprawls well.
Spencer swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Spencer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cali sprawling to the canvas! Cali rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Spencer finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cali tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cali lunges at Spencer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Spencer's hand.
Spencer connects with a body shot that sends Cali's belly button to the back.
Cali with a poor takedown
and Spencer counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Spencer cracks Cali with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cali looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Spencer finish him?
Cali is rocked!
Cali is breathing heavily.
Cali leaves his chin hanging out and Spencer seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Cali crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
