Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between rasan gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jean Liddell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, rasan gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch but gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
gracie wants to clinch.
Liddell fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Jean Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddell as he jumps to the side.
Liddell tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Liddell lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Liddell manages to break the clinch.
gracie throws a hook but Liddell blocks it.
Liddell instigates a clinch.
Liddell wants a takedown.
rasan gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Liddell.
gracie is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Liddell is keeping busy.
Liddell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddell tries to avoid it but gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddell to the ground. Liddell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Liddell looks to clinch
and gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Liddell won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
gracie is putting a hurting on Liddell here, landing some big shots from side control.
Liddell takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
gracie has hold of Liddell's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Liddell seems comfortable defending it but gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Liddell is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Liddell is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
