Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Yarygin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Harrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yarygin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Harrow moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Harrow, right into the meat.
Yarygin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Harrow. Harrow obviously looking to wear him down.
Harrow wants to clinch up but Yarygin keeps it at a distance.
Yarygin tries to counter by clinching up but Harrow breaks away and moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Harrow.
Harrow throws a wild body kick that Yarygin sees coming a mile off.
Harrow fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Harrow has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Yarygin is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Harrow connects with a high kick.
Yarygin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harrow is trying to defend but Yarygin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yarygin wants to work for an arm triangle but Harrow is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Yarygin lands with a punch from half guard.
Yarygin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Yarygin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Harrow sees it coming and defends easily.

Yarygin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Yarygin is taking a breather. Harrow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Yarygin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Yarygin moves into range and clinches up with Harrow.
Yarygin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harrow walks away with a smile on his face. Yarygin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Yarygin counters with a single leg into guard. Harrow didn't expect that.
Yarygin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Yarygin controlling the pace.

Yarygin tries to pass to full mount but Harrow defends it.
Yarygin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Harrow blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yarygin.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Harrow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Yarygin slows the pace down in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yarygin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harrow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yarygin somewhat.
Yarygin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Harrow tries to clinch up.
Yarygin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Harrow sprawls and moves away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yarygin or perhaps it was just good defense by Harrow, which made it look bad.
Harrow lands a front kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yarygin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harrow as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilya Yarygin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yarygin feints and as Harrow raises his hands in defense, Yarygin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Harrow kicks Yarygin off and gets to his feet.
Ilya Yarygin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Harrow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harrow throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Harrow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yarygin sizes up Harrow with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Yarygin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yarygin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Harrow is breathing heavily.
Yarygin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Yarygin trying to control the position from guard on top but Harrow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Yarygin with a nice head shot there.
Yarygin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yarygin is pushing down on Harrow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harrow is fighting to maintain full guard but Yarygin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yarygin uses his free foot to push down on Harrow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Harrow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yarygin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Yarygin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ilya Yarygin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yarygin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Harrow for as long as he can get away with.
Harrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yarygin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yarygin working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Harrow looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Yarygin! Submission of the night perhaps?
