Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Kjaer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edwin Kjaer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert May! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from May. Kjaer darts in and clinches May up against the cage. A short right from Kjaer.
It looks like Robert May has been cut. Kjaer throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kjaer lands a knee to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kjaer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. May is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kjaer works on May's body with a couple of short punches. Kjaer digs a right hand underneath May's ribcage. May let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kjaer with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Kjaer with a knee to the head.

A right hook to the body lands for Kjaer.
Kjaer lands a right hand. Kjaer lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
May is rocked!
That has opened up Robert May's cut even more. May looks winded! Kjaer jerks May's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! May drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kjaer goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kjaer because May was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Edwin Kjaer! Edwin Kjaer is the new welterweight champion!
