Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Kjaer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from May.
Kjaer darts in and clinches May up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
May is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Kjaer works on May's body with a couple of short punches.
Kjaer digs a right hand underneath May's ribcage. May let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kjaer jerks May's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! May drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kjaer goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kjaer because May was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Edwin Kjaer!
