Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Chris Bosh has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Bosh seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Bosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dakker Kane! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bosh tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kane defends well and Bosh ends up having to push Kane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kane tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bosh napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bosh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kane's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bosh is controlling Kane's trapped leg to prevent Kane from advancing to side control. Kane is trying to work for a kimura but Bosh is defending well.
Bosh wants to get back to full guard. Kane is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bosh tries to get to full guard but Kane has control of the leg.

Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Dakker Kane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bosh.

Kane has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bosh cracks Kane with a solid left hand. Kane working a defensive guard here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bosh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bosh passes Kane's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dakker Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
A punch combination from Kane misses. Bosh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bosh throws a head kick that misses. Bosh missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bosh throws a lazy right hand but Kane sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bosh has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kane. Kane gets caught flat footed, as Bosh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bosh working some strikes from top position. Kane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bosh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kane keeping moving, preventing Bosh from controlling successfully. Kane is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kane swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bosh with a nice head shot there. Kane can't keep his opponent in guard - Bosh advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bosh is nestled in close to Kane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bosh wants to control but Kane is keeping him busy. Kane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kane wants to control but Bosh is keeping busy.

Kane makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kane. Kane keeping moving, preventing Bosh from controlling successfully. Bosh sitting in guard, not really doing much. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between Bosh's legs - danger averted. Bosh is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bosh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bosh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kane stacks Bosh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kane! Chris Bosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kane is looking to take a break and control but Bosh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Chris Bosh showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
