15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauno Tynkkynen! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Attila connects with an inside leg kick. Attila thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tynkkynen if he has to take too many more of those.
Johan Attila seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Attila dips to his left and cracks Tynkkynen with an uppercut!
It looks like Rauno Tynkkynen has been cut. Attila scores with a body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Attila has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Attila clinches with his opponent.

Tynkkynen misses the shot to the body. Tynkkynen loads up on a big right hand but Attila slips the punch. Attila jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Tynkkynen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Johan Attila has been cut. Tynkkynen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Attila looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Tynkkynen misses with the combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Attila throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A slow jab from Tynkkynen misses its intended target. Attila wants to clinch up but Tynkkynen keeps it at a distance. Tynkkynen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Attila with a body shot. Tynkkynen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tynkkynen misses with a wild body shot. Attila moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tynkkynen's corner calls for a 1-2. Attila has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tynkkynen after a bit of a struggle.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johan Attila. Well Attila has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
