Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Carver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Williams! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carver sprawls well. Carver wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carver swivels and escapes. Carver feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Williams wants to sweep but no luck. Carver is in close to Williams's body, working some short punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carver postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it. Williams looking to control.
Carver throws a strike but Williams rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams being controlled here momentarily. Williams trying to control but Carver is working from the bottom. Carver wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Carver dives in and scores a takedown into Williams's guard. Williams manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Carver fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Williams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Carver is keeping busy. Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Carver won't allow it.
Carver breaks the clinch.
Carver manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Williams on his heels. He'll look to pass Williams's guard now, I'm sure. Williams is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Carver is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carver is one step ahead there. Carver has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carver lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carver not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Carver lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Williams looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Williams wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Williams looks winded! Carver shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Carver passes into half guard.
Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Carver stalling. Williams is trying to control but can't.
Carver working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Williams is looking to control Carver's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted? Williams is looking for a sweep. Carver is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carver slows the pace down in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Carver scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Carver dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Williams clinches. Carver prevents Williams from breaking the clinch. Williams drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carver manages to pull guard.
Carver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground. Carver is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him. Carver wriggles free and stands up. Carver shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard. Williams is breathing heavily. Williams working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carver. Carver controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Carver trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Carver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Carver, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Carver against the cage but Carver circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Carver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Williams gets the takedown into side control. Carver struggling a bit here. Carver is looking to regain half guard here but Williams keeps moving and retains side control. Carver holding on. Carver tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Carver can't do much from the bottom here. Carver is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is trying to get an arm triangle but Carver is defending well. Carver is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Williams is controlling him well. Williams controlling the position. Williams prevents Carver from escaping the position. Williams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Carver will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Carver shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Carver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Carver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Williams manages to escape and get back to his feet! Ricky Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carver escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carver gets the takedown into side control. Williams sneaks out the side door and pushes Carver away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Williams drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Carver gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Williams is trying to maintain a safe position but Carver gets an underhook and turns Williams into the cage. Carver pulls guard successfully.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carver works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Carver scores with a takedown into Williams's guard. Williams has his hands on Carver's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver lands a couple of digs. Carver with a flurry of punches that miss. Carver stays in close to Williams's body and controls the position. Williams working for a triangle but Carver defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Carver postures up and lands a big shot to Williams's brow. Carver throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely.

Carver trying to control from half guard but Williams is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Carver showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carver, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
