Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marco Andrade!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Allen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Andrade is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Allen pulls guard effortlessly.
Allen pulls Andrade in close to prevent any damage.
Allen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Allen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Allen works over Andrade with some ground and pound from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Allen drops back looking for a leg! Andrade is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andrade manages to kick Allen off! Allen jumps back into Andrade's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Allen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Allen postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Allen scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Allen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Allen stands up from Andrade's guard - Allen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Allen has Andrade up against the cage in a clinch.

Allen pulls guard effortlessly.
Allen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Allen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Andrade manages to get himself to full guard.
Allen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Allen really is a fat lump.

Andrade wants to hit a switch here but Allen passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Andrade there!

Andrade has left one of his arms exposed and Allen doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Andrade screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
