Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikola Filip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Puhakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filip comes to the cage accompanied by Zovi samo zovi. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikola Filip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sam Puhakka!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filip shoots in for a takedown but Puhakka shows good takedown defense.
Puhakka scoring well with a low kick there.
Filip tries to clinch up but Puhakka circles away and keeps his distance.
Puhakka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Puhakka forces Filip back against the cage and clinches.
Puhakka gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Filip regains guard.
Filip thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Puhakka trying to control the position from guard on top but Filip is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Filip looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Filip working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Puhakka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Puhakka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Puhakka slips nicely into half guard.
Puhakka trying to mount his opponent but Filip defends it.
Filip moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Puhakka wants to control from the top but Filip keeps moving.
Puhakka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Filip. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Filip escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Puhakka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Puhakka throws a big right hand that misses.
Puhakka trying to control but Filip is working from the bottom.
Puhakka is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Filip has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Puhakka is looking to defend but Filip has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Puhakka! Filip pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Puhakka taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nikola Filip!
