Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Fat Lip. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Mera or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan, which made it look bad.
Morgan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Morgan closes the distance and pushes Mera back into the cage.
Morgan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mera is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Morgan to the mat. Morgan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Mera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morgan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mera has managed to get both his arms back between Morgan's legs - danger averted.

Morgan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mera is looking to escape.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mera working his ground and pound in the gym.
Ceasar Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
