Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Monty Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dumaham Bijan!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bijan moves into the clinch.
Bijan avoiding damage.
Bijan jumps into guard, dragging Brown to the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bijan holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bijan's guard.

Bijan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bijan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bijan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bijan on the ground.
Bijan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Bijan is pushing down on Brown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown is fighting to maintain full guard but Bijan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bijan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Brown pushes Bijan off looking to stand but Bijan dives back in and keeps control.
Bijan is controlling the pace.
Brown is trying to stand up here but Bijan is controlling him well.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dumaham Bijan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bijan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brown bucks up and tries to throw Bijan off but instead Bijan has got his back!

Brown is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Brown just trying to survive but Bijan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Bijan is looking for the choke from the back position but Brown is controlling his hands well.
Brown is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bijan gets his way!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bijan controlling the position well here. Brown rolled but Bijan kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brown is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bijan dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brown throws Bijan to one side and escapes!

Brown dives in and grabs Bijan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bijan pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
Bijan darts in and clinches Brown up against the cage.
Bijan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bijan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Bijan slaps away a takedown attempt from Brown, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bijan feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Bijan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bijan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brown's head.
Brown working for a triangle but Bijan defends it easily.
Bijan postures up in Brown's guard and throws a big left but Brown blocks it.

Brown has an active guard here but Bijan has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bijan stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Brown to get to his feet.
Bijan moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
Bijan has Brown pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bijan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brown tumbling to the mat - Bijan dives into Brown's guard.

Bijan stands and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bijan swings around for an armbar but Brown sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bijan's guard.

Bijan has control of Brown's left arm, preventing Brown from doing any damage.
Dumaham Bijan has got the better of the ground game so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bijan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bijan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brown.
Bijan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bijan in particular looking to stall.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bijan pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dumaham Bijan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Brown is wriggling around but Bijan manages to pass to half guard.
Bijan stands up and beckons Brown to join him on the feet.
Bijan has managed to clinch.

Bijan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Brown is rocked!
Bijan lands a big head kick that sends Brown to the canvas! Bijan follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
