The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov connects with a right hand. Hall shakes it off.
Volkov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hall on the side of the head.
Hall throws a leg kick which misses Volkov's front leg but catches the back leg as Volkov tries to avoid it.
Hall scores with a kick to the body.

Volkov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hall lands a nice leg kick that just misses Volkov's sensitive parts.
An inside leg kick lands from Hall.
A low kick from Hall is predictable there
and Volkov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Volkov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Volkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hall feints and then cracks Volkov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Volkov down.
Hall connects with a leg kick. Volkov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Volkov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Volkov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hall is looking to clinch.

Hall throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Volkov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Volkov connects with a body shot that sends Hall's belly button to the back.
Volkov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
