Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fred Jackson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Jackson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hammer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hammer darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage. Hammer lands with a right to the head. Hammer lands a nice shot to the body. Hammer struggles to land a body shot inside as Jackson controls his hands.
Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hammer defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Hammer moves into range and clinches up with Jackson. Jackson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hammer has been working on his balance at Canadian Dragon MMA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Jackson. Hammer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hammer tightens his grip and picks Jackson up, before dumping him to the ground. Jackson manages to land in guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson being controlled here, momentarily. Hammer advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer has hold of Jackson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jackson seems comfortable defending it but Hammer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jackson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jackson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hammer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jack Hammer! Jack Hammer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
