Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Archie Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serge Gamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serge Gamura has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Archie Morse's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Archie Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Serge Gamura! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gamura fails with the takedown. Gamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gamura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morse paws at him with a jab and circles away. Morse appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Morse has closed the distance and engaged Gamura in a clinch.
Morse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gamura tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morse avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gamura is looking to take this one to the mat. Archie Morse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serge Gamura. Morse tries to throw a body punch but Gamura avoids it by throwing Morse back against the cage. Morse drags the fight down to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gamura has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Morse is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gamura wants to control from the top but Morse keeps moving. Gamura looking to sit in guard and control but Morse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gamura looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Morse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Morse stands up and waves to Gamura to follow him. Morse fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Morse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gamura did well to prevent Morse getting side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gamura keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Morse in particular looking to stall. Gamura wants to control but Morse is keeping busy.
Gamura is trying to get back to full guard. Morse working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Morse thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gamura wants to control but Morse is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gamura is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Morse scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamura blocking the ground and pound attempt from Morse. Morse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice strikes from Morse there. Morse stands up from half guard. Morse avoids the head kick by Gamura.
Morse takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gamura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gamura misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Morse moves into range and clinches up with Gamura.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gamura slows down the pace here.

Morse turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Morse manages to end up in side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morse working away. Gamura tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Morse dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gamura shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morse counters with a slapping leg kick. Gamura shoots in for a takedown but Morse shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gamura shoots and misses and Morse counters with a nice body shot. Archie Morse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serge Gamura. Morse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gamura but Gamura pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gamura is looking for the big counter here. Gamura gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Morse counters with a head kick. That will keep Gamura thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morse stuffs the takedown attempt from Gamura. Gamura gets slowly back to his feet. A counter left hand to the body from Morse misses its target. Gamura is breathing heavily. Morse closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gamura's guard. Gamura wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Morse manages to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Morse looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Morse is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gamura can do to turn this around? Gamura is trying to get back to full guard. Gamura is defending against the submission attempts here by Morse.
Morse is working for a kimura but Gamura is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Morse decides to stand and escape the position. Morse instigates a clinch. Gamura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gamura takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gamura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morse as he avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamura doesn't manage to clinch there - Morse circles away.
Morse drives through with a takedown into Gamura's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Morse trying to control the position from guard on top but Gamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gamura working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Morse. Gamura has momentary wrist control but Morse slips an elbow through the middle. Morse decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Gamura doesn't manage to clinch there - Morse circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gamura misses with a hook from the clinch. Gamura is trying to pull guard but Morse turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Gamura trying to control the position but instead, Morse has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gamura into the cage. Gamura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morse walks away with a smile on his face. Gamura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morse drives through with a takedown into Gamura's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Morse wants to control from the top but Gamura keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Morse dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Gamura is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morse sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As Gamura backs away, Morse returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Morse circles away from the clinch attempt.
Morse was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Morse stuffs the takedown. Gamura just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMorse. Archie Morse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serge Gamura. Gamura fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gamura will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morse shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Morse showed some decent athleticism there. Gamura tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Morse manages to move to mount!
Gamura takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morse has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gamura's face.
Morse with good strikes from the mount here! Morse lands a couple of good shots and Gamura has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Morse has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Morse has Gamura flattened out and is raining down punches. Archie Morse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Will Morse go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Gamura just trying to survive but Morse is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Morse scores with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Gamura right now.
Morse is working the ground and pound. Can Gamura escape? Morse scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Gamura is looking for a way out. Morse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morse gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Morse's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Morse controlling the positon. Morse lands a shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse avoiding Gamura 's attempts to control his hands. Morse is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gamura defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Morse lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Morse is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Gamura. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Morse patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Gamura is really stuck here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gamura turns into Morse and is now in his guard.
Gamura trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Morse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gamura's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Morse working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gamura is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Serge Gamura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Archie Morse is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gamura is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Archie Morse showed his dominance in that final round. Well Morse has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
