Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parsons comes to the cage accompanied by Rev Theory - Dead in a Grave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Rice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parsons shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rice manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rice trying to strike off his back.
Rice avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rice bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parsons's guard.

Rice prevents Parsons from getting back to his feet.
Parsons can't keep his opponent in guard - Rice advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rice shoots for a double leg takedown but Parsons sprawls well. He's pushed Rice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Parsons seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Rice darts in looking for a takedown but Parsons gets double underhooks and turns Rice into the cage.

Parsons shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rice's guard.

Rice has his foot on Parsons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parsons works his way back into a safe position though.
Rice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Parsons postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Rice covers up, he's hurt! Parsons keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Parsons and the ref steps in to end the fight! Parsons can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

In his post fight interview, Jack Parsons started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
