Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chevie Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tupa Dufu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dufu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock You Like A Hurricane. Tupa Dufu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chevie Case! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tupa Dufu! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dufu stuffs the takedown. A cross from Dufu lands. Dufu lands a jab to the nose. Dufu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Case moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Case moves forwards but Dufu connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dufu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Case appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Case fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dufu is out of range. Dufu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Dufu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Case. Dufu looks to land a combination but Case avoids it well. Case avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Case tries to counter with a takedown but Dufu is quick to defend against it. Dufu throws a jab but it's blocked by Case. Case half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Case tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dufu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Case slips under a jab. Dufu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dufu lands a jab-cross combination. Dufu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dufu throws out a loose jab but Case uses good head movement to avoid it. Case has been working on his balance at THE GYM (20 Elite coaches on the Island !!!), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dufu. Dufu throws a right and a left that both miss. Tupa Dufu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dufu throws a jab when Case was well out of range. Dufu throws a shot from downtown. Case moves away and avoids it. Case changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Dufu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Dufu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Case on the side of the head. Case throws a body punch but Dufu moves out of range. Dufu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Case misses with a straight left. Dufu scores with a hook to the body. Case takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Dufu throws a poor cross that misses
and Case counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dufu! Dufu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Case. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dufu is trying to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dufu can do anything to dispel that myth. Dufu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dufu is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Case is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dufu has escaped the position, nice work there. Dufu is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Case asserts his dominance and retains side control. Case is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dufu has escaped the position, nice work there. Case has hold of Dufu's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dufu seems comfortable defending it but Case has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dufu is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dufu is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Case couldn't care less - he's delighted!
