Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wong comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joy James! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Good shot there by James. James ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wong avoids the body shot from James.
As James backs away, Wong returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. James looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A chopping leg kick lands by Wong. James closes the distance and pushes Wong back into the cage. James lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for James. James swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A frustrated look appears on Wong's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by James. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wong is trying to break the clinch but James has him pressed against the cage. James breaks the clinch.
James pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wong looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Joy James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wong lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wong looks to throw the jab but James is out of range. James throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wong counters with a thumping low kick. James gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. James struggles to land a body shot inside as Wong controls his hands.
Wong has had enough of the clinch but James keeps him there for the moment. Wong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. James looks to score with a jab to the body but Wong is just out of range. Nice body punch from James. James missing with a left hand there. Wong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. James takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Wong counters with a thumping low kick. James drives through and clinches with Wong against the cage.
Wong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James connects with a right hand. Wong shakes it off. Wong lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. James misses with a hook
and Wong counters with a big head kick but James shrugs it off. A jab from James does it's job there. Wong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
James's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wong under the eye. Wong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like King Wong has been cut. James digs a good body shot into Wong's ribs. James misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James missing with a left hand there. Wong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wong lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. James scores with a nice head shot. James bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wong's head. Wong throws a right and a left that both miss. Wong needs to keep his hands up - James had a free shot at his head there. Wong scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James loads up on a big right hand but Wong slips the punch. James looks to land a right hand but Wong moved out of range. James has closed the distance and engaged Wong in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong misses with a short punch on the inside. Wong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wong pushes James away with a front kick. Wong scores with a crisp jab that stopped James in his tracks. James throws a good cross that connects.
James takes a swing at Wong's ribcage but misses. It looked like Wong wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. James has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wong breaks the clinch.
James avoids the head kick by Wong.
James throws a hook but Wong blocks it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joy James dominated that round. The cut man is working on King Wong's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
James has managed to clinch.
Wong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. James connects with a jab. James scores with a jab. Wong acknowledges it with a nod of the head. James throws a sloppy body shot
and Wong counters with a low kick, right behind James 's knee. Wong uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from James. Wong tried to counter with a leg kick but James avoided it. James darts in and out, connecting with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wong throws a quick inside leg kick. James fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. James tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Wong to counter with a crisp jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. James throws a right hand that Wong ducks under and follows up with a left that Wong also avoids with ease. Wong plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! James tries to clinch up. Wong was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Wong on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
James ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. James scores with a decent looking hook. James is looking to clinch. James wants to clinch up but Wong keeps it at a distance. Wong swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by James. A looping hook to the body misses from James. Wong does a little dance to reset his feet. Joy James seems to be getting the better of the standup. James blocks a head kick by Wong.
A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Wong counters with a stiff right hand. A big left from Wong misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wong slips under a jab from James. It looked like Wong wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. James just misses with a punch to the body.
Wong throwing a counter right hand but James manages to avoid it. James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wong quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Wong digs a good hook to James's body.
Nice defenses there by Wong. Wong thumps James with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James digs a good body shot into Wong's ribs. James cracks Wong with a good jab. James tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wong connects with a high kick. Wong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. James misses with a wild body shot. James throws a right hand that misses
and Wong counters with a nice low kick that buckles James's knee momentarily. A clash of legs there as James blocks the low kick. Wong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. James looks to throw the jab but Wong is out of range. James rushes Wong and presses him up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong blocking some punches.
James scores with an uppercut up the middle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James throws a head punch that misses. Wong is trying to break the clinch but James is controlling him. James throws a punch but it's blocked by Wong. Wong manages to break the clinch.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Wong circles away.
It appears Wong was looking to counter with a kick there. James swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wong counters with a nice uppercut. A looping hook to the body misses from James. Wong does a little dance to reset his feet. James has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. James tries to clinch up. Wong defending well as James loads up on a big left hand. James has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wong. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Joy James will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on King Wong's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
That kick from Wong tenderised James's leg. James is trying to keep his angry face on. James with a hook. James loads up on a big right hand but Wong slips the punch. Wong throws a quick counter head kick but James was just out of range. James lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
James pushes Wong up against the cage in a clinch. Wong looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Wong working hard to break the clinch. James can't find room to land a body shot as Wong controls the action.
James throws a head punch that misses. Wong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wong circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wong. Wong lands a right hook to the body.
Wong throws the kick towards the body but James avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong throws a nice outside leg kick. James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wong. James misses with a hook to the body
and Wong counters with a leg kick. James takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. James cracks Wong with a good jab. James thows a left - swing and a miss! Wong throws a quick counter head kick but James was just out of range. Wong throws a nice head kick!

James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wong moves away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James ducks under a wild hook from Wong. Wong lands a slapping body shot.
Wong moves out of range as James strikes. James lunges at Wong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wong's hand. Wong drops his hands momentarily and James takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wong can pounce on him.
Wong throws a series of strikes that have James backpedaling.

James wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. James throws a right hand that misses
and Wong counters with a nice body shot. James lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. James misses with a body shot.
James throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wong gets tackled into the cage by James. James maintains the clinch. James has Wong pressed against the cage, preventing Wong from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Wong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James gets a clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. James throws the left hand but Wong avoids the punch easily. James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
James's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. James thuds his right hand into Wong's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It looked like Wong was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from James. Wong slips a straight right by James. A telegraphed right hand from James misses the target. James lands with a cross. James rushes Wong and presses him up against the cage. James misses with a hook from the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Joy James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Joy James! A very excited looking Joy James made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. King Wong spoke after the fight, saying 'You are a worthy opponent. The Mighty King Wong will return. Train hard, fight harder!'.
