and Chulainn counters with a beautiful punch that sends Gunines to the canvas!

It looks like Louis Gunines has been cut.
Gunines looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Chulainn content to stall in guard here.
Chulainn has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Chulainn stands up and waves to Gunines to follow him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gunines is trying to drag Chulainn to the mat but Chulainn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Chulainn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gunines's guard.

Chulainn gets to his feet - Gunines follows without any prompting.

Chulainn is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Gunines is in big trouble! Chulainn is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Gunines. Poor guy.

Cu Chulainn was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
