Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Tripplet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuntet Wijoyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruce Tripplet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kuntet Wijoyo! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tripplet takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wijoyo moves into range and clinches up with Tripplet. Tripplet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tripplet throws a right and a left that Wijoyo avoids nicely. Tripplet throws a nice looking combination but Wijoyo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wijoyo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wijoyo closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Wijoyo on the inside. Wijoyo drags the fight down to the ground.
Wijoyo seems keen to control Tripplet's posture. Tripplet would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wijoyo has his hands on Tripplet's head, controlling the position. Tripplet tries to stand but Wijoyo is controlling from the bottom. Wijoyo is controlling Tripplet's posture.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wijoyo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tripplet missing with a left hand there. Wijoyo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bruce Tripplet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wijoyo closes the distance and clinches. Tripplet definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tripplet prevents the takedown attempt.
Wijoyo drags the fight down to the ground.
Wijoyo is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wijoyo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wijoyo has his hands on Tripplet's head, controlling the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wijoyo is on top in guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wijoyo closes the distance and clinches. Wijoyo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wijoyo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wijoyo is adopting a defensive guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wijoyo is on top in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tripplet is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wijoyo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kuntet Wijoyo dominated that round. That's time! Tripplet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tripplet throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wijoyo. Tripplet misses with the combination.
Tripplet connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Tripplet looks to land a combination but Wijoyo avoids it well. Tripplet with a hook. Wijoyo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wijoyo looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tripplet wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wijoyo manages to pass to side control. Wijoyo working Tripplet over with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tripplet is trying to control but can't.
Tripplet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wijoyo on the ground. Wijoyo missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wijoyo sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wijoyo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tripplet is in trouble now - Wijoyo has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wijoyo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wijoyo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tripplet is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tripplet and Wijoyo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tripplet is not in a great position here, taking some shots. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Tripplet wants to control but Wijoyo postures up. Wijoyo decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tripplet lands with a right hand. Wijoyo moves into the clinch. Wijoyo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tripplet misses with a double jab
and Wijoyo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Still in half guard, Wijoyo seems content to control. Wijoyo is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wijoyo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wijoyo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tripplet, up you get! Wijoyo takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tripplet rushes Wijoyo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Wijoyo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Tripplet Piles on the pressure and Wijoyo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Tripplet! During a confident post fight interview, Bruce Tripplet thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
