Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Strongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Strongson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnathon Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Strongson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strongson throws a right and a left that both miss. Duran blocks a head kick by Strongson.
Duran just misses with a punch to the body.

and Duran counters with a takedown into side control. Strongson sneaks out the side door and pushes Duran away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Strongson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duran sprawls well initially but Strongson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Strongson is taking a breather. Duran says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Duran wants to control but Strongson is keeping busy.
Duran is trying to stand.
Strongson stalling away here and it's allowed Duran to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strongson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duran works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Duran has control of Strongson's left arm, preventing Strongson from doing any damage. Strongson throwing strikes from guard but Duran blocks nicely.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Good work by Duran as he checks the leg kick. Strongson throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Duran counters with a single leg into guard. Strongson didn't expect that. Strongson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Duran manages to pass to side control. Strongson pushes Duran off looking to stand but Duran dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duran thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Strongson tries to roll over but Duran keeps him under control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strongson can do anything to dispel that myth. Duran scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Duran is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Strongson looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Duran pushes past his half guard into mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran prevents Strongson from getting the reversal. Duran working the ground and pound effectively.
Strongson tries to hold on but Duran pushes him away. Strongson tries to improve his position but Duran has taken his back! Duran has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Strongson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Duran pushes Strongson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
