The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ataman loads up on a big right hand but Wong slips the punch.
It seemed like Wong was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Both fighters circling a little - Wong finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

enabling Wong to counter with a crisp jab.

A decent looking cross lands there for Ataman.
Ataman takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wong has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Ataman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ataman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wong lands the left hand.
Wong scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ataman is rocked!
Kaye Wong seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Whack! Wong lands a heavy head kick that drops Ataman. The ref tackles Wong to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ataman was done.
