Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sydney Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Murphy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by perfect enemies. Franco Murphy Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sydney Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franco Murphy Johnson! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson throws the left hand but Johnson avoids the punch easily. Johnson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Johnson dives in and grabs Wilson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out. Wilson scores with a leg kick.
Wilson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wilson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Johnson only half commits to the counter leg kick. Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson scores with a nice body kick.

Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson sets himself, and Johnson steps forward looking for the clinch! Wilson avoids it this time.

Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson throws the kick towards the body but Johnson avoids it. Wilson scores with a leg kick.
Wilson misses with a body kick. Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet. Wilson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wilson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Johnson wants to counter with a clinch but Wilson pushes him away. Wilson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Both fighters circling a little - Wilson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Johnson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Wilson. Johnson blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Johnson moves out of range of the body kick. Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat. Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wilson lands with a slapping head kick.

Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wilson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilson as he avoids it easily. Wilson is looking to counter with head kicks. Wilson fakes the leg kick and cracks Johnson in the body. Wilson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wilson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Wilson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wilson throws a front kick aimed at Johnson's knee but Johnson avoids it well. Johnson dives in for a single leg takedown but Wilson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wilson appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sydney Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franco Murphy Johnson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson blocks the body kick.

Wilson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wilson connects with an inside leg kick. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Wilson is looking to land body kicks. That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Johnson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A lazy body kick from Wilson and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wilson pulls Johnson in close to his closed guard and prevents Johnson from doing any damage or advancing position. Johnson trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. Wilson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wilson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. This has been an exciting period of action! Wilson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Wilson. Wilson is looking to counter with a body kick. Wilson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Johnson. That did some damage! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wilson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wilson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Johnson has a takedown stuffed. Sydney Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franco Murphy Johnson. Wilson slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat. A slapping leg kick lands for Wilson.

Good leg kick by Wilson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Sydney Wilson is winning the standup battle so far. A bone on bone clash there as Johnson blocks the leg kick.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Wilson. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Wilson. A head kick from Wilson lands but Johnson takes it in his stride. Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.

Wilson connects with a leg kick. Johnson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wilson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. Franco Murphy Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wilson counters with a nice leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Sydney Wilson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
