Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mehmet Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Bradford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradford lands with a kick to the temple. Muhammad shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Mehmet Muhammad has been cut.
Muhammad closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bradford did well to prevent Muhammad getting side control.
Muhammad looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Muhammad seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bradford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muhammad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Muhammad swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bradford is now in Muhammad's guard. A big mistake from Muhammad there, giving up the dominant position!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Muhammad is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradford is just riding it out for now. Muhammad eventually gives up the hold.

Muhammad uses his free foot to push down on Bradford's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bradford.
Muhammad moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bradford has worked his arm free - good work by Bradford!
Muhammad misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Muhammad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muhammad wants to control but Bradford is keeping him busy.
A lull in the action here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sonny Bradford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bradford. Muhammad shrugs it off though.
Bradford uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Muhammad.

Muhammad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bradford lands with a thumping leg kick.

Muhammad misses with a hook
and Bradford counters with a big head kick but Muhammad shrugs it off.
Muhammad is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bradford can do to turn this around?
Muhammad throws a jab but it's blocked by Bradford.
Bradford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Muhammad dives in and scores a takedown into Bradford's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muhammad passes Bradford's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Muhammad is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bradford is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
