Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georges Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baybay Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Georges Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Baybay Kang! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes misses with a double jab.
Hughes drops his hands momentarily and Kang takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Hughes slips under a jab. Kang avoids a kick to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Kang misses. Hughes slips under a jab. Kang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hughes is landing a low percentage of strikes. The fighters circling - Hughes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kang moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hughes has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kang. Hughes works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hughes has picked Kang up - he's going for a ride! Hughes dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hughes landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hughes takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hughes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hughes has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Hughes is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kang has managed to free his arm - good work. Kang moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hughes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hughes drops back looking for a leg! Kang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kang manages to kick Hughes off! Hughes jumps back into Kang's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hughes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hughes postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hughes cracks Kang with a solid left hand. Kang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hughes manages to get himself to full guard.
Kang trying to control but Hughes is working from the bottom. Hughes keeping full guard, as Kang tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hughes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hughes is tightening it up a little... Kang has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kang reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kang taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hughes!
