Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Gornik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knowles Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Gornik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Knowles Jackson! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gornik throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Gornik pushes him off. Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gornik gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch. Gornik softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Gornik will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jackson up against the cage. Jackson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Gornik pulls guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gornik striking off his back but it's not causing Jackson any problems. Jackson wants to control from the top but Gornik keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gornik is keeping the position for now. Jackson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gornik has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle. Gornik looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson forces his way into half guard. Gornik wants to get back to full guard but Jackson has mounted him! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson tries to control but Gornik wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gornik can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gornik regains half guard. Gornik won't allow Jackson to pass to mount. Gornik is trying to stand.
Jackson is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Gornik reverses the position - he's now on top in Jackson's guard. Gornik stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gornik being controlled here momentarily. Jackson controls Gornik momentarily but Gornik frees himself. Jackson working a defensive guard but Gornik passes into half guard.
Jackson is looking to get back to full guard here but Gornik has managed to pass to side control instead. Gornik happy to just control the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gornik looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jackson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson tries to get to full guard but Gornik has control of the leg. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson wants to control but Gornik is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Gornik dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Gornik tries to clinch and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gornik pushes Jackson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jackson works Gornik's body with a nice hook. Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Gornik circles away.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gornik's waist but Gornik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side. Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Gornik. Gornik shoots in but no luck this time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gornik scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Gornik is standing up over Jackson. Jackson looks to escape but Gornik dives into side control.

Michael Gornik overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Jackson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Gornik is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.
Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson controls Gornik momentarily but Gornik frees himself. Gornik won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. Jackson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Gornik presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Gornik pulls guard. Jackson gets to his feet - Gornik follows without any prompting. Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gornik. Gornik circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gornik throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gornik sprawls well. Gornik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Michael Gornik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knowles Jackson. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Gornik. Gornik gets slowly back to his feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gornik checks a leg kick. Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Gornik, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Gornik against the cage but Gornik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gornik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jackson is fending him off so far but Gornik persists. Nope, Jackson circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson wants to counter the offense by Gornik and move into the clinch position. Gornik takes the fight into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gornik has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson just leaning against Gornik, taking a breather. Jackson has Gornik pushed against the cage. The crowd are getting on Jackson's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Gornik tries for a takedown but Jackson manages to get underhooks.
Jackson pulls Gornik into guard.
Jackson has his hands on Gornik's head, controlling the position. Gornik looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Knowles Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Gornik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gornik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson throws a head kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jackson keeps the fight on the outside. Gornik shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson is looking to clinch. Jackson thumps Gornik with a low kick. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Michael Gornik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gornik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jackson tries to roll over but Gornik keeps him under control. Gornik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gornik passes into side control, despite Jackson's attempt to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson pecks away with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jackson controls the position for a moment. Jackson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Jackson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Gornik wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson chips away with some ground and pound. Gornik throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jackson sitting in guard here, content to control. Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gornik working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gornik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well. Jackson wants to control from the top but Gornik keeps moving. Jackson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gornik, up you get! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. An attempted straight right counter from Gornik misses the target.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Knowles Jackson. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
