The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silence keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McHaggardy.
Silence throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McHaggardy's waist but McHaggardy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silence off to one side.
Silence doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting McHaggardy counter with a right hand.

McHaggardy slaps away a takedown attempt from Silence, before circling back to the center of the mat.

McHaggardy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silence's hands.

Jimmy Silence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silence drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Silence throws a sloppy head kick
and McHaggardy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Silence shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McHaggardy is trying to defend but Silence finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

McHaggardy has his feet on Silence's thighs here. He's pushed Silence off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Silence screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
