Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Haslock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Breese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dakota Haslock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benny Breese! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haslock lands a head shot. A punch lands to the side of Breese 's head but he takes it in his stride. Haslock lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Haslock tries to clinch there but Breese circles away.
Haslock sets himself, and Breese steps forward looking for the clinch! Haslock avoids it this time. Breese moves out of range of the leg kick from Haslock. No luck for Breese with that takedown attempt. Haslock misses with a double jab.
Dakota Haslock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haslock stalks Breese and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Breese's face. Breese staggers backwards, shaken. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Breese fails with a takedown attempt. Breese doesn't succeed with the takedown and Haslock counters with a left to the body. Dakota Haslock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Breese. A left and a right from Breese both land. Nice combination. Breese feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Breese has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Haslock is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haslock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Haslock is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Breese is stalling in the full guard. Breese won't allow Haslock to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Breese working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Breese sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Haslock's guard. Breese lands strikes from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breese thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Breese is working for a submission of some sort.
Breese stops Haslock from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breese is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Breese is looking to take a break and control but Haslock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Breese prevents Haslock from improving his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Breese goes for a double leg but Haslock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Haslock continues to drive forward. Haslock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd cheers as Haslock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Breese doesn't seem phased though. Breese on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Breese shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haslock as he avoids it easily. Sloppy strikes from Haslock. Those never looked like landing. Haslock misses with a two punch combination.

and Breese decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Haslock's guard. Haslock is breathing heavily. Haslock keeping moving, preventing Breese from controlling successfully. Breese looking to sit in guard and control but Haslock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dakota Haslock dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A combination from Haslock does no damage. Breese wants to counter the offense by Haslock and move into the clinch position. A momentary lapse in concentration from Haslock enables Breese to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Haslock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Haslock has his feet on Breese's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A left lands for Haslock. Haslock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Breese can do to turn this around? Breese fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Haslock misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Breese fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Haslock to the ground. Breese is now in Haslock's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haslock looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Benny Breese has got the better of the ground game so far. Breese postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Breese must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Breese wants to control from the top but Haslock keeps moving. Haslock wants to stand up but Breese is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Breese trying to control the position from guard on top but Haslock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Breese looking to pass the guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The fight moves into the clinch position. Haslock is trying to break the clinch but Breese has him pressed against the cage. Breese breaks from the clinch.
Haslock scores with a crisp jab that stopped Breese in his tracks. Haslock fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Breese looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Haslock darts in looking for a takedown but Breese gets double underhooks and turns Haslock into the cage. Breese cracks Haslock with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Breese misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breese shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haslock as he avoids it easily. Breese tries for a takedown but Haslock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dakota Haslock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Breese. Breese clinches. Haslock misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Breese.
