Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Filip Hrgovic!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale tries to clinch but Hrgovic is having none of it.
Hrgovic dives in and scores a takedown into Dale's guard.
Dale wants to get back to his feet but Hrgovic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hrgovic is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hrgovic passes Dale's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hrgovic stops Dale from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dale tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hrgovic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dale's guard.
Hrgovic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hrgovic passes Dale's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dale is breathing heavily.
Hrgovic slows the pace down in half guard.
